CEO & Co-Founder
Renee J. Lewis, CMP is the CEO and Co-Founder of Infinity Management Group, LLC. She has over 25 years of experience in the areas of association management, project management, marketing and public relations and event planning and operations.
Renee served as the Executive Director of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Detroit Chapter from May 2011 through August 2013. Recently she was selected to serve as the Executive Director of Detroit Local Organizing Committee for the ASAE & The Center for Association Leadership’s 2015 Annual Meeting & Exposition. As ASAE is a
two-year project, she saw this as an opportunity to start the company, Infinity Management Group, LLC, she had been considering to create for many years.
Since 2008 Renee has assisted the Council of Engineering and Scientific Society Executives (CESSE) with content and program development, sponsorship, and event management for their annual meeting.
Renee spent thirteen years as Director of Publishing & Event Services for the American Concrete Institute (ACI). During her tenure she oversaw the planning and operation of over 100+ annual domestic and international events and the Publishing Services Department responsible for production of all published print and digital materials/products for ACI and affiliate associations managed by Creative Association Management (CAM) including the American Coal Ash Association, American Shotcrete Association, International Concrete Repair Institute, Post-Tensioning Institute, American Society of Concrete Contractors and various other events co-sponsored by ACI or CAM clients. Renee managed nine staff and worked with numerous volunteer committees including all Host Chapter Convention Committees, the ACI Convention Committee, International Conferences/Conventions Committee, Publications Committee and Structural Concrete in the Americas Workshop Committee. In 2004 ACI celebrated its’ 100th anniversary for which Renee oversaw all activities leading up to and during the year.
Prior to joining ACI, Renee held various roles in the event and marketing industries including Senior Travel Director/Program Manager for Maritz Travel Company, a third party event management company specializing in business meeting and incentive travel management for sales based organizations, Special Services Assistant Manager responsible VIP transportation for the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta, Event Coordinator for the Georgia International Convention Center, and Assistant Director of Student Programming for the University of Dayton.
Renee is a member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and Michigan Society of Association Executives (MSAE). She earned the designation of Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and is currently working toward her Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation. Renee graduated from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication concentrating in Public Relations with minors in Marketing and Management.
